Natricia Bernard is an incredibly versatile choreographer and creative director based in the UK. She has worked extensively within the industry for many years, appearing in her first television commercial at the tender age of five. Fashion shows and print work followed consistently while she trained at the Hayes Stage School during her teenage years. Natricia then went on to complete her dance training at the London Studio Centre for three years, while having the option to attend the Lanes Theatre Arts program as well. After completing her training, Natricia ventured out to work as a dancer appearing on television, award shows, theatre productions, and modeling events.
When Natrica still assisted choreographers she worked with internationally renowned choreographer La Velle Smith Jr. for eight years as his European assistant choreographer for Michael Jackson and Beyonce. She then worked as associate choreographer on the BBC show Move Like Michael Jackson and as choreographer for the London castings of Michael Jackson’s This Is It Tour. Since then, Natricia has come into her own style and has worked for some of the world’s biggest artists, brands, events, and directors. Having the opportunity to choreography with artists such as Paolo Nuntini, Mika, Florence and the Machine, Kanye West, Duffy, Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Timberland, Cher Lloyd, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, and the Arctic Monkey’s. Some of her commercial credits include Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, KFC, Kia, Smirnoff, Amazon-Kindle, FIFA, Dove, Heineken, T-Mobile, Nutella, H&M, Clean & Clear, Playstation, Herbal Essence, Budwiser, and Wonderbra.
In 2009, Natricia was made a companion by Sir Paul McCartney, at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts for her contribution to the entertainment industry, as well as her mentoring achievements. In 2010 she also had the opportunity to work with pop artist Katy Perry, choreographing her music video Firework that won an MTV award at the VMA’s for Video of the Year. Her recent achievements include choreographing for the show Show Me which premiered in Berlin, Germany, training Gemma and Darren Tunesi who won the STV show First Dance, choreographing Jessie J’s music video Wild, as well as Miley Cyrus’ performance for the 2014 Summertime Ball.
Natricia’s infusion of different styles and techniques has led her to become one of the most wanted international creative directors and choreographers. This is just the beginning for Natricia as her talent is incomparable.
