Nicole Berger is one of television’s most versatile and sought after choreographers. After graduating from Harvard University, Nicole pursued her passion for dance by attending graduate school at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. While there she continued her training in various styles such as ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, Indian, and African dance. Nicole then began her professional career in New York as a soloist in Mark Dendy Dance and Theater and at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, performing as Janis Joplin. She has since choreographed for and danced in many television shows including Happy Endings, The Fosters, Body of Proof, Dirty Sexy Money, Mason Twins, Marry Me, and Growing Up Fisher. Nicole has also had the opportunity to choreograph for the Radio City Rockettes, the Hartford Stage Company, and has worked closely with director Julie Taymor. Her most notable highlight was her role as the principle dancer and assistant choreographer in the film Across the Universe.
Nicole is the current resident choreographer for the NBC hit comedy, Parks and Recreation as well as FOX's new top rated show Brooklyn Nine Nine. Some of her additional credits include national and international commercials aired on Bravo, SYFY, and Euro Millions as well as music videos for artists such as rap legend Foxy Brown and indie rock star Adam Green. Currently she is a faculty member at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) where she is able to inspire and educate the next generation of dancers.
